This was originally a piece that Peter wrote and recorded some years ago. We took a liking to it, started playing it in rehearsals, fleshed it out, and added lyrics about being placed in a position of power, and thus having the decision as to how one will use it.

You soared from subdivisions
Right up to power's door.
You made the right decisions,
But who were they right for?

Rushing through the trees,
Your better judgment flees.
Something's wrong today.

Is something right today?

Right now you have the bliss;
Now you have certitude.
Your savvy dismal science
Says which of us are screwed.
